Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I absolutely loving completely relaxing all day long, enjoying wonderful food (I've got a smoked turkey delivered from a great place in Tyler, Texas, I'm really looking forward to having), sipping wine and coffee spiked with Johnny Walker throughout the day, and paying half-attention to day-long football while I fight the urge to nap. Sunday was good to me

I had a very, very nice day in the NFL yesterday, thanks in large part to the Patriots dismantling of the Bills. Of the six bets I placed on that game, five were decided as winners by halftime. What a nice feeling that was. All eyes will be on the Oregon/Arizona game tonight, and I'm taking the Ducks at -10 here in a bet that they can avoid the ejector seat the No. 2 spot in the polls has become. A chance for a double middle I couldn't pass up

Games between MAC teams are usually a good place to bet the Over no matter what, but tonight's matchup between Toledo and Ball State seemed especially good. Both teams are averaging a little more than 30 points scored per game, but Toledo is also averaging just a hair under 40 points allowed. What a bad bet taking the 49ers against the Seahawks was. While yesterday won't join my list of all-time great betting days, a near-sweep of plays on the nighttime games, including my biggest bet of the day on USC, gave me a 12-7 tally and my first pretty good day of college betting in a while.
