Tracking my 2007 fantasy football picks

A chance for a double middle I couldn't pass up

Nov 13, 2007, 6:20pm | Posted by Steve

Games between MAC teams are usually a good place to bet the Over no matter what, but tonight's matchup between Toledo and Ball State seemed especially good. Both teams are averaging a little more than 30 points scored per game, but Toledo is also averaging just a hair under 40 points allowed. The books were slow to post a total on this game and it opened at 66. I grabbed the Over quickly and watched as the O/U skyrocketed throughout the day.

When it reached 72.5 the opportunity offered was just too good to pass up. I bought the half-point and bet the Under 73. That gives me a 7-point middle in this game, and something to really root for tonight.

To top it off, I had also grabbd a first-half Over at 34.5 early. The 1H total spiked to 36, so I grabbed the Under there as well. That only gives me a small middle window for the opening half, but 35 points scored in the first two quarters sounds just about dead-on right between these two teams.

So I'm shooting for not one, but two middles this evening. Should be a fun Tuesday night watching this.

Toledo at Ball St. (Under 36 1H)
