Clash of the directional school non-titans

Nov 6, 2007, 6:16pm | Posted by Steve

As far as crappy MAC games go, tonight's matchup of Directional Michigan universities could actually be a fun one to watch. Central Michigan runs a good spread offense and neither team has a defense worth anything. Even with lousy weather conditions, I like the chances for tonight's total to go over by a decent margin.

ACTION: 11/06

Cent. Michigan (-2.5) at W. Michigan
Cent. Michigan at W. Michigan (Over 59)

Western Michigan's only decent offensive player, receiver Jamarko Simmons, was ejected from the game early in the first quarter, screwing my Over. But while his absence hurts one bet, it opens a door for another. I really like a second-half play on a Central Michigan team that played about as poorly as possible in the first half, and still trailed by only 4 at the break.
