Redneck High

We're now in the last full month of college football's regular season, and I'm still below .500. Luckily I've kept my losses contained, so one really good week (or two pretty good ones) would put me in the black. Luckier still, I've been doing really well with NFL bets, so I've been managing to turn a profit even when the college games have been so weird.

Let's see if today marks the beginning of my long-overdue hot run in college.

I'm still watching lines on the Texas Tech/Baylor and San Jose State/Boise State games. If the Tech team total gets to 42, I'd likely play the Over. Currently San Jose is a 25-point underdog; if that hits 27 or 28, I'm on them.

I've got a trio of leans today, but so far haven't been able to make myself bet any of them. Of the three, I'd be most likely to talk myself into playing Mizzou (but only if I could get it at -3).

Rutgers has put up noticeably better numbers than Connecticut, but the Huskies still lead 25-16 at the Half. I look for the Scarlet Knights to narrow that gap in the second half, and maybe pull out a comback win.

USC looks like they're playing like USC tonight. I tend to believe they'll outscore the Beavers pretty handily in the scond half, so I'm looking to recoup my full-game bet.
