Tracking my 2007 fantasy football picks

A good roll in the NFL, tougher in college

Oct 15, 2007, 4:42pm | Posted by Steve

I continue to do far, far better with my NFL betting than college — yesterday my pro bets went 5-2-1 while my college picks went 1-2. I'm not the only person having trouble with this bizarre college season. There simply are no outstanding teams this year. Beginning this week, I intend to cut back on my college plays for a while, playing it cool until things calm down and/or bowl season begins.

In the meantime, I need to keep being selective in the NFL. I've only got one play on tonight's MNF game. Win or lose, I like the Giants to post at least 24 points, so that's the angle I'm taking.

ACTION: 10/15

Giants (team Over 23.5) at Falcons

A wrap-up from yesterday:

10/14 NFL Results

Bengals at Chiefs (+3) - Win
Eagles (-3) at Jets - Win
Patriots at Cowboys (+5) - Loss
Patriots at Cowboys (ML) - Loss
Raiders at Chargers (-9.5) - Win
Texans (team Over 14.5) at Jaguars - Win
Titans (+3) at Buccaneers - Push
Titans at Buccaneers (Under 38) - Win

10/14 College Results

Nevada at Boise St. (-14 1H) - Loss
Nevada at Boise St. (-25) - Loss
Nevada at Boise St. (Over 61) - Win

(For final scores, see the season record page.)
