A unit on Pitt

Oct 10, 2007, 5:45pm | Posted by Steve

Navy runs and runs and runs. When that doesn't work, they run some more. They go up against a Pitt defense that's pretty good, particularly against the run, so if the Panthers can slow the Middies rushing game they can swamp the Navy boat. So I like Pitt in this midweek game, but my confidence is only moderate. This game only deserves a single unit.

ACTION: 10/10

Navy at Pitt (-4)

Speaking of units, it's reached the point in the season where I need to be more diligent about varying my bet size according to confidence level. For now I'm switching a 1-, 1.5-, 2-unit system of weighting my plays.
