Thank you, Cincinnati, for pulling my Saturday out of the junk heap. Because you whupped San Diego State the way you did, my day went from a disaster to merely a bad one. And even after going 4-9-1 on the day (make that 4-11-1 counting Friday's game) I'm still in the black on the season. I have to count myself lucky for that.
I know I wasn't the only bettor having a hard time today. There were upsets all over the place, and even some of the winners were cutting it close. I'm glad I got a day like this out of the way with the damage contained to a reasonable level.
The Texas Longhorns are awful this season. I just felt like that needed to be said, but I don't really feel any better for having said it.

Yesterday was the kind of day that makes me glad I don't gamble. Vicariously though I feel your pain. Ugly, ugly day. Good thing I sold the OU tickets this past week before both Texas and OU drove their market value WAY down.
