Tracking my 2007 fantasy football picks

Into the profit zone

Dec 18, 2006, 7:05pm | Posted by Steve

A nice run has put me above the break-even mark in my football betting, not even counting the bit of money I've eked out in college basketball. It's nice to be out of the red. If my two Monday Night Football bets pan out tonight, I'll be in a good spot going into the start of college fooball bowl season Tuesday.

11/18 ACTION

Bengals at Colts (-3), $120/$100

Bengals at Colts, Under 28 1H, $120/$100

The Colts have struggled mightly over the last several week, but I look for them to shake off most, if not all, of those woes at home tonight. I still don't think their defense will do much to stop the Cincy rushing game, but I expect the Colts offense will pull away for a handy win. That said, I think most of the scoring will come after the half, once the Bengals defense is tired and Peyton Manning is fully in a groove, so I'm also betting the first-half Under. I think my chances are good for a Push at least.
