Tracking my 2007 fantasy football picks

Thank you, Bears; Going small on MNF

Nov 13, 2006, 5:33pm | Posted by Steve

What a terrible Sunday I had betting the NFL games, losing my first 8 wagers of the day. Thankfully most of those bets were small, and thankfully the Chicago Bears pulled me most of the way out of that hole, winning on what was by far my largest bet of the day. If you're only going to win once, it's always nice when it's a big one.

I'm making a couple of tiny bets on tonight's Buccanneers/Panthers game. Very small. One bet about 1/5 of a unit, the other about a tenth. I actually feel pretty confident about the play, but my NFL season record has convinced me I should save my money and wait for the good college games.

11/13 ACTION

Buccaneers at Panthers (-10)

Parlay: Buccaneers at Panthers (-10) & Under 37

It's the time of year where I may also bet college basketball, always for very small. I'm not going to bother posting those plays, but they may have a small effect on the total budget I have available. I'll hope I win there and that it gives me more to play with over the last bit of the regular season and the bowl games.
