A pretty big matzo ball hanging out there
The headline above is a line from an old "Seinfeld" episode, and it's about taking a risk. That's the situation I'm looking at this weekend. I was much more selective in choosing the bets I made this weekend, but placed larger wagers on all of them. A good weekend would put me in nice shape going into the last few weeks of college football's regular season. A bad weekend…well, let's not think about that.
Here are the bets I've got:
11/10 ACTION
UTEP (+2) at UAB, $55/$50
11/11 ACTION
Purdue (+3) at Illinois, $55/$50
Baylor at Okla. St. (-15.5), $55/$50
Rice at Tulsa (-14), $55/$50
Texas Tech at Oklahoma (-9), $55/$50
Texas (-17) at Kansas St., $56.20/$50
Texas at Kansas St., Over 49, $110/$100
La. Tech at Hawaii, Over 75, $52.50/$50
That's most of my remaining budget at risk on those games. There's a little left, and I'll probably place it on one of two games — a first-half bet on Hawaii or Miami at Maryland — depending on the movement of the betting lines.
So there it is, all hanging out.
