8:23pm Added bet: At halftime this game is close to a dead heat. Louisville is putting up more yards, but they're only up by 2 points. The matchup is so even, that I've decided I don't want any money riding on the outcome. So I'm placing a second-half bet on Louisville at a pick 'em to cancel the full-game wager I already have on West Virginia, also at a pick 'em.

I do think there's a chance to make some money in the third quarter, though. It's obvious there's not much defense from either side, so I like the possibility of at least two touchdowns in the third. I've added a 2/3-unit bet for Over 14 in the coming quarter.

West Virginia at Louisville, Over 14 3Q - 2/3 unit

Tonight's West Virginia/Louisville game should be a good one, but it was hard figuring which side to play. Both teams are pretty darn good (even if I do think they're both a bit overrated) and evenly matched. Games like this often come down to coaching and motivation, and I think West Virginia's Rich Rodriguez is one of the best and those two things. So I made my play with the Mountaineers.

I want so much to also bet the Over, but it's at 58.5 right now, and that's a little higher than I like. If it happened to drop to 56 in the few minutes before kickoff, I'd probably put a unit on it.
