Well, that worked out better than I had to right to hope for. Of the five bets I ended up placing on Tuesday's UAB/SMU game, I lost four of them. But I ended up losing only 9 bucks and some change on the night. The 4th-quarter Over 13.5 bet I made might not have been wise, seeing as how it was for about 3.5 units, but it panned out and saved me from a big loss. And the difference-making points came on an interception returned for a touchdown.

I can't decide what I ought to do, if anything for Wednesday's Fresno State/Boise State game. Boise State is going to want to run up the score to impress poll voters, to keep alive what hopes they have of making a BCS bowl, and they have a history of scoring huge on that stupid blue field of theirs. Fresno State, though, is known for playing over its head against tough teams. I'm going to have to think on it more.
