Tracking my 2007 fantasy football picks

10/22 NFL action

Oct 22, 2006, 11:48am | Posted by Steve

Four NFL plays today, with two home underdogs and one road 'dog. The only favorite I'm riding today is the Cardinals, who looked more than decent against the Bears Monday night, on the road agains the Raiders. I'm a little worried about a letdown from the Cards, because they were so very close to upsetting the NFL's Big Boy, but I think the Raiders have pretty much given up on the season already. I know Randy Moss has.

3:05pm - ADDED: I'm on two additional afternoon games now. Going with home favorites in the Colts and Seahawks.

ACTION

10/22 Patriots at Bills (+5.5)

10/22 Steelers at Falcons (+2.5)

10/22 Panthers (+3) at Bengals

10/22 Cardinals (-3) at Raiders

10/22 Redskins at Colts (-8)

10/22 Vikings at Seahawks (-6)

Lean

10/22 Chargers (-5) at Chiefs

I really want to bet the Chargers. Really want to. I think they win today, and I think they cover that 5-point spread pretty easily, but I just can't bring myself to put money down. If they were playing in San Diego, or if the Chiefs hadn't been so embarassed last week against the Steelers, I'd pull the trigger. I'll just watch today, though, and I expect to kick myself later, after San Diego has won by 13 points.
