Tracking my 2007 fantasy football picks

An ugly win is still a win

Oct 18, 2006, 9:54pm | Posted by Steve

Holy cow, Louisiana-Lafayette (I'm going to keep on calling them Southwestern Louisiana, I don't care what they go by officially) and Florida Atlantic are both awful. There were something like 15 or 16 punts in the game, and only 6 points scored. I don't care, though, as I had taken Florida Atlantic and 9.5 points.

10/18 RESULT

10/18 Lousisana Lafayette at Florida Atlantic (+9.5) - Win, $16.35/$15

(For final score, see the season record page.)

On a nice note, the win tonight puts me back at the .500 mark on my picks for the season. Things are looking up.

15 or 16 punts in the same night…sounds like my last date.

  2. Steve says:

You misread. I said they need 15 or 16 "punts" to make the ugly score tolerable. Not 15 or 16 "pints."
