After taking another look at North Carolina State, I feel like they're getting far too much respect after squeaking out an upset win over an overrated Boston College team last week. I don't see them doing much against the Florida State defense. If the Seminoles score 21 points, that'll probably be enough to cover the 10-point spread I've got (line is at 10.5, but I bought the hook).

Other Thursday night play

Early in the week I took TCU at -2.5 at Utah, and thought the line was being generous. When the line moved to favor the Utes, I added another unit on the Horned Frogs at +1. Now Utah is favored by 2.3, even 3 at some places, and I've been tempted to add another unit on TCU. I think I'll keep my bet at 2 units, though, as I see TCU winning by a touchdown or more. If by chance they do lose, I would imagine it would be more like last week's whooping by BYU, and not getting edged out by a field goal.

While on the topic of adding to already-placed bets I'll mention the Texas/OU game. I already got a bet on Texas at -5 and the line is moving more on to OU. If it drops far enough that Texas is only a 3-point favorite, I'll likely double my bet there. I see the Horns winning this by 10 to 14 points.
