Tracking my 2007 fantasy football picks

Football betting on a Tuesday night

Sep 26, 2006, 3:42pm | Posted by Steve

Another reason I love college football: Midseason games on a midweek night between midlevel teams that I actually care to bet on. Southern Mississippi travels to Central Florida tonight to determine which team gets has the inside track to lose in the Conference-USA championship game.

ACTION

9/26 Southern Miss (Over 26.5) at Central Florida, $23/$20

I expect one of two things to happen tonight: Southern Miss wins in a blowout or, if Central Florida is competitive, it turns into one of those score-every-series games where defense is non-existent. Either way, I believe the Golden Eagles have no problems scoring at least 4 touchdowns, which is all I need to hit this team-Over bet.
