Action on the Monday Night game
It sounds more and more likely that Ben Roethlisberger will play tonight, which makes me feel even more confident the Steelers will win handily over the Jaguars. Even without Roethlisberger I would still feel good about my Pittsburgh pick, as I think Jacksonville has been getting far too much credit for their opening-week win over Dallas. The Cowboys could easily have won that game, but they self-destructed with interceptions, a missed field goal and lots of stupid and untimely penalties.

9/18 Steelers (-2.5) at Jaguars, $22/$20
The Jags are a decent team, but not outstanding. They're a full notch down from Pittsburgh.
Note that I'm picking the Steelers despite this psycho mofo playing for Jacksonville…

One or two little smacks aren't enough for me. I have to get into a full-blown slap fight in order to get psyched up.
