Alright, alright. Wooderson in town
About an hour ago I was taking a hike around Mount Bonnell — one of the hills in Austin with a particularly picturesque view from the top — when Matthew McConaughey came running by. He was up there getting a workout in, probably trying to sweat out the remnants of Friday night, if you go by his past history.
The dude's in good shape, I'll say. He was sprinting up and down the rocky stairs, and anyone who's climbed Mount Bonnell knows that takes some pretty good wind.
It's really no surprise he's in town — he is the University of Texas' best-known football hanger-on — but it was good to see Wooderson himself out and about. He's sporting a very scruffy-looking beard today, by the way, so, unless he shaves it, he'll be the guy on the Texas sideline who looks like a very tan version of the singer for the Spin Doctors.
